Using a Sub Account ID
Using a Payment Gateway Sub Account is similar to using an additional user however using a Sub Account gives you more options. Setting up a Sub Account can be done with one merchant account or several. One of the main reasons for using an Sub Account in Fast Charge is to have one account for e-commerce sales and another one for a retail store system. By using Sub Accounts you will only have to manage one payment gateway account and get the lower rates from the retail merchant account.
Another reason for using a Sub Account is to employ different Fraud Screening options. For example, you may sell a very high risk item and need all the possible Fraud Prevention features enabled but don’t want to harm your other sales. You can have your normal sales under one Sub ID and the high risk products under another.
Using a Sub ID gives you all the options of having a separate payment gateway account but without the costs.
